When the will to survive and thirst for power in politicians over-ride the value of patriotism, they create slits and tears in society, which will eventually drag the country to its downfall.
The project was done in cooperation with the International Writers Festival at Mishkenot Sha’ananim.
It was inspired by Etgar Keret’s Car Concentrate from the Malfunction at the Edge of the Galaxy collection.
Materials: Second-hand jacket, youth movement shirts ripped to shreds and then reconnected, embroidery, and macrame strings.
Tools used: needle and string, a carpentry file, and a grater.
